This is the official blog post for my newest book release: Jamming with James: 37 Messages from the Apostle’s Letter to the 12 Tribes.

Currently, this book is only available in hardback, but the audio and video versions of these sermons are available for free on YouTube and SoundCloud. I’ll post the links to these playlists below.
All of these messages were first written and preached for my congregation – Dailey Chapel Christian Church – located in rural Parke County, Indiana. The audio uploads for SoundCloud are done (typically while sitting in my car) on Sunday mornings, before going to church to preach them; so they are kind of a last practice run. The video versions are recorded after church – usually on Sunday evenings or Monday mornings (from my office at home); I put a great deal of time into editing these videos, inserting other video clips, images, maps, custom PowerPoints, etc. The endeavor of making the videos each week was (and continues to be) a learning process, but I had a lot of fun tinkering around with lighting methods, adding a bluetooth mic halfway through the year, and generally finding new ways to supplement my preaching through the editing process.
Likewise, I would like to state (for the record) that I 100% write my own sermons from scratch. I do not use so-called “AI” to write any part of them; nor do I plagiarize my messages from any other preachers or writers (except, occasionally, from one of my own past sermons, which I don’t think qualifies). When I quote another source, I say so.
I put a great deal of thought into the dedications contained in each of my books. For this book, I chose a couple of old friends of mine. I haven’t seen them in a while, but they were instrumental in terms of how God led me to Dailey Chapel. My dedication to them is as follows:

Lastly, my messages are considered to be manuscript style (which means they are written out entirely, word-by-word, beforehand). However, there are (at times) variations on what comes out in the preaching, depending on whether I’m at the pulpit, in my car, or in my office at home – especially depending – on what our dogs are doing when I’m in the office at home. 🙂
